favs for the publicity for the piece, and comments because they mean more.


but it also depends who they come from.. certain people for instance katie [snowmask?], getting a fav from her means alot, because she doesn't just throw them around like alot of people do. she only favs pieces that are REALLY worth faving (in her eyes)

I try and do that too.

I like getting favorites, but the comments mean a whole lot more to me than anything else.

Although i think i've sighted Elvis more times than i've seen good comments lately.

I like comments where people tell me the good and bad points of what I've drawn, but favs can be nice too- I love it when someone who hardly favs work or someone I REALLY like (art, whatever) favs my stuff, it's nice ^^

Mm, I think it depends a lot on who it's coming from. Really well thought-out comments are usually much appreciated (such as the kind you leave me, K-chan..! ), but sometimes having something faved is really flattering, and especially if you respect the work of the artist who likes your pictures. =^.^=

On the other hand though, there are some people out there who'll fave just about everything under the sun, and others who leave (*cough*) really pointless comments sometimes. So I think it's a fair toss-up.**

I agree with you, but keep in mind that not all the people here are not good at coming up with a decent comments, for example me...

I like both really XP A comment with a fav on the side, lol.. That doesn't happen a lot though :\

I love them both, personally.
