Redesign a character contest!If there's something we love about fan art is how artists take artistic liberties and portray characters in their own style and different scenarios we wouldn't see otherwise. Some people will say that fan art is unoriginal, but from experience there's a lot of creativity involved when it comes to depicting your favourite characters in a different light, deviating from the way they were designed by their creators.
This is why, inspired by the Pokedesign Challenge by *CrazyRatty on Tumblr, your friendly neighborhood Fan Art CVs decided to host a fun little contest for you!
How it works:
Pick a character from any fandom you like.
Come up with at least 3 different re-designs for them and put them in a single image.

PE Daily Deviations - So you want to suggest DDs?You're browsing deviantART or are simply checking your message centre and find a wonderful art piece. You want to suggest it as a Daily Deviation because you believe it truly deserves to be seen by the community as a whole. But how to properly suggest a DD? This article will explain the process.
Things to check before sending a suggestion:
The first thing you need to check is if the artist has been given a Daily Deviation in the past 6 months. Volunteers cannot feature anyone who's had a DD in that period of time with no exceptions, as this has been hard-coded into deviantART's system.
"But how do I check an artist's Daily Deviations?" you may ask. Simply go to their gallery, click browse and scroll down. If they have any DDs, you'll be able to find a link to them at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, you can add "/dds" after their profile url and click enter on your browser's address bar.

Fan Fiction Contest - Freaky Friday!What if one day you woke up to find out you were in the body of your favourite character and they were in your body? What crazy things would happen to you both?
This is what this contest is about: Fan Fic writers are invited to tell us what swapping bodies with a character from any fandom of their choice would be like.

Rules:

Write a short Fan Fiction about your body swap experience with a character in a fandom of your choice.
You must put YOURSELF in their body, and the fandom character in your body. We want to see both characters facing this freaky incident.
You now posses their body and all their powers, but there are limitations. Please refrain from writing anything of sexual nature.

Oh, I love this question. A friend of mine created my deviantart account. I owe my current artistic life to him. 4,5 years ago, I showed him a few drawings I had in this old school notebook http://ireal70.deviantart.com/art/My-nostalgic-Sphinx-71020280 and a few comic pages I did when I was 12 years old.
