The amazing ^
Thiefoworld has posted two great articles featuring Fan Art. The first one is called
Original Fan Arts where he talks about how fanartists aren't necessarily unoriginal for expressing their love for a TV show, book or movie. It's a must read for everyone! As Thiefo says:
"There are still a lot of stigmas against Fan Art, one of them being the belief that you're giving up your originality and creativity as artist by making fanart, a debate that will go on forever.
However I believe, as shown with these features, that you can still create Fan Art without compromising your creativeness and originality. Just like with any other subject, you are free to present the idea in your own way."

The second article is
Feature: The Legend of Korra, showcasing a wide arrange of amazing Fan Art of the long awaited sequel to Avatar: the last Airbender.
Thanks for reading!
