Stamps are a great way to show your support for a project, a person or a group of people, spread awareness for a cause or promote a contest. It is also valid to do them just for fun, with just a funny image and/or message.
Since their introduction to the deviantArt galleries, millions of stamps have been created with a great variety of messages, both silly and serious, and you can see them all over the place, from journals to profile widgets.
The Community Relations department exists to encourage, facilitate and develop the relationship with our deviantART community. Our goal is to nurture our community by encouraging, stimulating artists to create, collaborate, and participate in a friendly, safe, and supportive artistic environment.

The Book that Travels the WorldToday I want to invite everyone to join a wonderful project, I was recently told about it and I think it's a beautiful thing to be a part of: a book that travels the world collecting art from every place it visits.
The project was started by ~Traumfaengerin-Wish with this idea: "I want to create a book that travels around the world, from one deviant to another. Each deviant can add his part to the book, a drawing, poem,a little story, photos, etc.
I want to reach every corner of the world with this book, to see how wide our network reaches, to let other people see how wide we are connected, to let them be able to touch, to hold the proof in their hands."
Two books are already traveling and a third book is on the making. 216 people already signed in, the books will visit 52 countries, and counting! Everyone is welcome to join and share some of their art with people from all over the world. Once the book is finished there's talks about getting it published!

7th anniversary + The Awezing ProjectI turned 25 some time ago (OMG, I'm old! Just kidding!) and I've always wanted to inspire and to empower other people, to make them see their own potential. Slowly The Awezing* Project started to take form in my head. Today is my 7th anniversary on deviantART so I thought it was finally the time to release Awezing to the world to celebrate both my birthday and anniversary!
GOAL
My goal is to get at least 25 people (hopefully more) to take a picture of themselves with a paper crown or a bought one. You can either leave the crown blank or write either on the crown or on a piece of paper:
'I am awezing'.
WHY
As a reminder to yourself that you are a wonderful person with tons of strength and potential within you. If you then dare to put that as a facebook avatar, g+ icon, dA avatar/icon or whatever community avatar that's a bonus.

Gone were the days when a simple art gift would cheer people to no end. *Topicality out of thin air decided to create a 'gift art' for me, for which as a thank you I reciprocated with another. Like the calm before the storm, I felt some ulterior motive and asked if she had done it to insinuate a painting battle.
Lo behold, she did! And the battle commenced!
