Rainbow Lorikeets are such brilliantly-coloured birds

I'm glad they're pretty common here in Australia (especially considering all our other animals are brown/grey

) They get very loud in the evenings when they return to their trees in some areas though, but after an hour its all quiet again

Yeah, they're quite the loud bunch, aren't they? Dunno if they're the same, but near Toowong Village in Brisbane's suburbs, they even make noise past 7 pm.

Wow! how'd you get so close? there is a tree in my backyard which occasionally fills with a few of these cheeky creatures but whenever i go near their gone in a flash...excellent work! ☺
