This was supposed to be a doodle and it ended up going too far. Took me 2 hours to finish.

I wanted to try something different so I used one of *purplekecleon's tutorials as a guide.

How lovely! This piece looks very nice! :D
I have to say, though that the background is missing something.
Maybe you could have added a tree that was a bit thicker?
The leaves look very nice and look like they were light up by the sunlight, which adds a very nice affect.
The sunlight on Chespin also looks amazing, and the shading is perfect! :D I'm not totally sure about the mouth on Chespin, but it definitely shows that Chespin is working hard!
Overall, it looks great! I recommend you keep trying this method, because you'll just get better and better!
